Dycem Contamination Control Mats
Dycem contamination control mats are made of polymeric compounds. The smooth surface creates natural tack and a high degree of short-range electromagnetic forces to retain the contamination. The mats are washable, can manage high traffic and high loads depending on the model. Polymeric flooring reduces viable and non-viable contamination. The highest efficiency is achieved with at least three steps for each foot or three full wheel rotations. The durability and efficiency depend on the number of staff which passes over, the size, the cleaning method and frequency, the cleaning detergent, and heavy loads. Certain polymeric flooring needs to be installed. The life circle is between three to five years. There are different colours available to create colour codes and alert staff about different zones.
